Watch Bez and Peter Hook on the Hacienda

Pretty Green tapped Madchester's finest for a panel talk on Madchester, music and the future

In March, Manchester's Granada Studios will be demolished to make space for the Factory, a new arts and culture space that takes its name from Tony Wilson's seminal record label, home to New Order, Happy Mondays and a glut of other bands that for a time made Manchester the most exciting city on earth.

Two months before wrecking crews move in, Pretty Green assembled some of the people who defined that era – including Bez, Peter Hook, Graeme Park and Clint Boon – for a panel discussion that covered everything from their (patchy) memories of the Hacienda to what the future holds for the city's young music makers. Watch the video and then tell us what you remember of Madchester in the comments.
