The art director, stylist and choreographer Manrutt Wongkaew moved to the UK from Bangkok 15 years ago to study fashion at Central Saint Martins, before training in dance at the London Studio Centre and Trinity Laban.
Dancing Fashion: A Year of Struggle is a photography exhibition by Wongkaew that explores how he has combined the two throughout his career so far. It comprises of a collection of fashion films, life-sized prints and printed editorial work.
Wongkaew recently completed his doctorate at the University of Surrey, exploring the use of contemporary dance in modern day fashion advertising. He is currently performing in a production of Madame Butterfly with the English National Opera, which runs until the beginning of July.
