Listen to a new mix from Gorillaz’s Noodle

The group’s latest new album hint is a selection of tracks by inspirational women

In October 2016, Gorillaz published a series of posts on their Instagram. One entitled The Book of Noodle, which tell the story of the band’s fictional guitarist, the other The Book of Murdoc, does the same for their bassist. After that, Noodle’s OkCupid profile appeared with the cryptic message: “Ready? 12:11 xx DA” and, in December, Murdoc released his Dirty Santa collection on Spotify.

The latest puzzle piece is a new mix by Noodle of tracks by women that inspire her. “In search of new sounds and new inspiration, I found these kick-ass women who in their own individual ways are true pioneers in the writing, production and creation of music,” she wrote on Twitter. “They have inspired me, and I hope they inspire you too.”

Although not to provide a release date, we notice.
