This year Levi’s Trucker Jacket turns 50. To celebrate, the American denim brand teamed up with Jun Takahashi’s Undercover to create customised models of the jacket. These are now available at London’s Dover Street Market.
The collaborations sees Takahshi's signature punk aesthetic, with hand-stitched motifs and patches, used over the Type I, Type II and Type III Trucker. The offerings come in both light and dark washes of premium Cone Mills denim.
For the launch, Takahashi said, “When I slip my Levi’s Trucker Jacket on with a pair of 501s – the fabric, design and fit – everything matches perfectly with my mood. This item really is a timeless, everlasting piece.”
