First look: Harrys of London trainers

Harrys' vibrant new footwear collection to be stocked exclusively at Harrods

Since 2001, Harrys of London has made footwear that mixes traditional craft with modern styling. Its uppers may be handsewn in Italy, but the soles could be based on windsurfing shoes, the better to grip Britain’s slippery pavements.

Which is why, when the brand launched its first trainers last year, the shift from formal to street-inspired footwear seemed particularly unforced. For its latest collection, the brand has created an exclusive range of four sporty sneakers, each featuring a Vi-Lite sole that makes them light and energy absorbing. So you could wear them to train in. Although, they’ll look even better if you don’t.
