First Look: Element's new athletic outdoor collection

Being rooted in skate culture, Element is no stranger to the great outdoors. For its latest collection, the brand has taken fabrics proven in skateparks and reworked them for life off the deck: think lightweight, weatherproof materials that can handle any conditions, from sunshine to torrents.

In a nod to its 90s roots, the collection is also big on bold graphics and the kind of boxy cuts that make movement easy on a skateboard. Throwback styles include coach jackets, rugby shirts, dad caps and zip-up fleeces, which are engineered in performance cottons and nylons that work as well in and out of the city.
