Filmmaker and photographer Dan Nathan’s latest series features abstract landscapes in the Sahara Desert and the border between Arizona and Utah. Paralland is to be exhibited at the Serena Morton II Gallery, London on 16 September.
Nathan’s landscapes appear similar. They capture the ability of natural forces, such as time and erosion, to uniformly mould and shape terrains. He has also included time signatures on each image as a way of illustrating their impermanence while in a state of geological metamorphosis.
