Campbell Cole Coin Pouch

Campbell Cole's purist-inspired collection includes a coin pouch with an emboss in the style of works by Charles Edouard Jeanneret AKA Le Corbusier

Entitled Simple, Campbell Cole’s autumn/winter 2016 accessories collection was inspired by the purist artistic movement.

Led by Charles Edouard Jeanneret AKA Le Corbusier and Amédée Ozenfant, the purists detested decorative art, instead promoting paintings that stripped objects down to their basic details. Campbell Cole’s collection mimics this approach with suede and leather products designed in simplistic forms.

Among products such as the A5 Travel Pouch, Slim Wallet and Key Wrap is the Simple Coin Pouch, depicted here. Made from Italian vegetable tanned leather, the pouch holds around five cards, as well as some notes and coins. It has a Riri zip and is finished with a paracord zip puller. There is also an embossed artwork inspired by Jeanneret’s early paintings.

Founded by designers Ian Campbell Cole and Felicity Baggett, the brand Campbell Cole makes understated accessories. It is stocked in international retailers, including London’s LN-CC, Brighton’s Peggs & Son and Centre Commercial, Paris.
