It’s fair to say Bolt London founder Andrew Almond is a two-wheeled enthusiast. He has the friendly, languid repose of a man who’s just alighted from – or is about to get on – a speed machine, whether his hand-painted scooter or a reworked motorbike.

While the first Bolt was set up under a railway arch in London Fields in 2013, Almond’s new store is in an old stables in Stoke Newington, and feels like his dreams manifest once again. Here you’ll find the requisite one-off bikes, plus clothing by Dawson Denim and Black Skulls et al alongside vintage Lewis Leathers and Belstaff, and limited art editions by guest illustrators. The space inspires the potterer in us all.
